Read this news about Los Angeles City Council, a case of high-level Latinos discriminating against black, and thought about why political correctness is important to everyone
I, As a Mainland Chinese, discrimination is build-in setting by these reasons:
- The GFW(Great Firewall) blocked my eyes to connect with the world
- Start to learn English after 30, just use English in recent years
- Nationalism is in all propaganda hard to avoid
- Learn to be smart but rarely learn to be kind
I think Political Correctness is all about trying your best to avoid discrimination, and helping some discriminated groups build the least discrimination society for their daily lives
- The cleverness is because of too many fakes, not because of knowledge
- Trust is not east to create
- less long term goal
- Internet culture of sharing
- Work hard but for survival, not for a goal
- Don’t know how complicated the world it is
