Different Kinds of Daily Reflection

There are many different kinds of daily reflections, from simple to complicated:

Steve Jobs’ version:

When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.” It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

My version:

My version right now(last maybe 3 years) heavily relies on daily writing~ it started with one-year Chinese writing and slowly changed to English writing a half year ago, so it helped me improve my English as well right now

My method is learned from Zero Second Thinking by Yuji Akaba and evolved into two parts: 1) Q&A reflection and 2) a daily article writing

Benjamin Franklin’s version:

While many who journal today spend most of their time on affirmations and inspiration, Franklin used his journal for the opposite: to keep a ledger of his moral failings. He would record on the left side of his journal a list of wrongs he had done, and on the right side what he had done to make up for it.

Triggers: Creating Behavior That Lasts by Marshall Goldsmith and Mark Reiter is a book that elaborates a similar version of Benjamin Franklin

So, the conclusion here is:

Daily reflection is a method, and I think it is the most critical method of all methods fear enough for everyone, and everyone depends on different resources that can vary from another, and a self-responsibly checking point is necessary for all of these variants(from the most simple version to the most complicated version)
