One of these days, I exhaustedly trying to look for an English teacher, to me, it is not easy to find a teacher nearby, to the teacher, it is also hard to find a place for doing the teaching, so I think if there is an application similar to Airbnb, it would be helpful.
The obvious question is: Why don’t you find an online teacher? Online teacher is easier to find and maybe cheaper, but I still insist on teaching in personal because of three reasons:
- Attentiveness and concentration. Teaching and Learning is not full of interesting to most of the people, you would feel tired and expected the stop-time subconsciously if you lose control, because it is extremely hard to control the people on the other side of the screen who you talk to.
- Tool limitation. In a one to one class, we can use our facial expression and body language naturally, switch seamlessly among computer screen, mobile phone, textbook, notebook and any other tools we can find help to improve the efficiency.
- Little disturbance. You are likely to pick up a phone call and talk longer at online class, and easily be disturbed by children, pets or doorbell.
I named this teacher searching application as Teachbnb, other function this application could have:
Schedule tool. Can use to book teacher’s schedule online;
Online payment. Make payment process as easy as Airbnb;
Visualized teacher searching by using Google Map;
Teacher information and so on~
