I use “methods and tools” a lot and it confused me for a while until I could clearly distinguish them, I think this would be helpful in understanding all methods and tools
Methods are mainly for sharing. The purpose of all methods is people; so people would do experiments to discover new methods, and you can call a method a successful experiment
Tools are mainly for sale. The purpose of all tools is value; So people deliberately improve tools to increase their value
What we can do to methods is making them easy to be shared, discover better methods and put kindness into methods
What we can do to tools is making them cheaper, easy to be used and teach people to do good things with the tools
