The Principal of A Good Partner in My Business

I’m Chinese, and I do business out of China, some projects would treat China as the only market, but not all of them, for all these businesses, I have several business partners, and slowly I create a different taste of business partners with most other Chinese expatriates

  1. A-Players. This is said by Steve Jobs, and the way of distinguishing them is pretty easy, they don’t like to work with B and C players: “I’ve built a lot of my success off finding these “truly gifted” people, and not settling for ‘B” and “C” players, but really going for the “A” players… I found that when you get enough “A” players together, when you go through the incredible work to find five of these “S” players, they REALLY like working with each other because they have never had a chance to do that before. And, they don’t want to work with “B” and “C” players, and so it becomes self-policing, and they only want to hire more “A” players, so you build up these pockets of “A” players, and it propagates…”
  2. English. English as a working language is pretty obvious to a business toward the global market, and also it proved a good autodidact-included educational background
  3. Agree with a long-term goal. It’s very important that someone have a very long-term and passionate goal, in this way, all disagreements can be solved in a very reasonable and simple way
  4. Lifelong learner. Lifelong learners are the only ppl can keep growing with a business, and the definition of a lifelong learner will be elabrated by another article
