Thinking with languages. “What is the meaning of life” is a question, so it needs thinking, and thinking needs languages, there are 4 main languages developed by humans: English as the language of humans, Programming as the language of AI, Gene engineering as the language of lives, and Math as the language of sciences
Extending human lives, longevity. After thinking with stronger and stronger languages, maybe 100 years are not long enough for one single person to understand this question, so extending the humans lifespan potentially is quite helpful
Keep on discovering. Suppose one day things like aliens, a new habitable dimension, traveling faster than light or other new subversive new physics, these things would hugely change the answer to this question, actually I think the “discovering” of AI is the same as discovering aliens
