I always think about what will happen in the future, to help human leap forward to a new stage of life, to break out of this species’ mind and body, steam engine power the world, internet make the world connect to each other, and what’s next?
I am an optimist, so I believe human will deal with climate change, the energy problems and use one language(most probably English) in the near future. But, I still believe something seems impossible will happen in the further future:
- Life extension. Learning and Growing is a very slow process, our mind and body are hugely influenced by lifetime limitation, if lifetime only have 100 years, most people have to think about things on the earth, but if the lifetime is 10000 years, you would think more about universe and mathematics
- AI and Robot. AI is invisible, Robot is too stupid, but if they combined, things would be different. We still have a long way to research and develop new technologies to approach and cross the uncanny valley, but we really need them as we need dogs and cats
- Live in space. Human are born on the surface of that small blue sphere, we need air, gravity, carbon-food and many others, so we call that small blue sphere home, but sooner or later we will leave home and live somewhere others, the ISS started 20 years ago is just the beginning, we have a long way to go in the future.
